On April 30th, Ainsley turned 4! That is really hard for me to believe. Can it really have been four years since her miraculous birth? Anyway, Mike and I very much enjoy making a big deal out of our kids birthdays. Since they now have a party either many weeks before or many weeks after their true birth date, we try to make their day special. So, that Wednesday morning Ainsley woke up to me singing "Happy Birthday". Then, she got to go to the donut shop with Daddy to pick out her favorite donuts. After breakfast, we all sat in the living room and watched her open her presents from us and from MawMaw and PawPaw. Even Max found a great gift for her from his own belongings.

2 New Baby Bottles

1 New Cell Phone with a case

Best Loved Disney Stories (from Max)

She also got a new Princess umbrella. From there our day went on as usual. But for dinner, we surprised Ainsley with a trip to Chuckie Cheese's. She had a great time and won lots of prizes! She even made sure to get a prize for Lillian.

It was a really fun day for all of us. Mike and I have so much fun sharing in their joy. Now, no more birthdays til next year!

0 comments? We can't have that on the occasion of Ainsley's 4th bday! What a fun kid: loving and funny, bossy and thoughtful, smart and helpful, pretty and a Tomboy. She's going to love becoming the Big Sister again! Ainsley, your fourth year on the planet is going to be SO special ~ just like you! I LOVE YOU!
