Baby Talk

Well, I'm now 35 weeks pregnant and on bedrest due to too many contractions at 34 weeks. I never realized before now how hard it is to be on bedrest. Here I am wanting to nest, or at least try to keep my house clean, and I'm not supposed to be doing anything. I'm even supposed to be lying down most of the time, but that's more than I can handle. I'm doing good to stay off my feet. But crocheting and sewing can't be done while lying down. I must sit up.

Today, my baby seems to think it's time for gymnastics! He just won't be still. (Before you ask, I still don't know the gender. I just prefer "he" over "it") If he's not moving his butt around and kicking me, he seems to be thrashing his head about looking for the way OUT. It's not the most comfortable feeling, to say the least. But, alas, I'll miss those movements in a few months when I look back. I just really enjoy carrying babies. It's so miraculous!

Anyway, please join us in praying this baby waits to make his arrival until at least 37 weeks. We're anxious to meet this little one, but more concerned about his health.

Praying with you and for you that this little Wooddell will arrive at just the right time!

See you in a few to get the big Wooddell kids for co-op!

I'm praying for your comfort until God's perfect timing. I place my faith, hope, and trust in my Lord who loves you even more than I do! (And that's a LOT!)

Hey Jamie,

I'm checking in on you ever so often to make sure you are still in bed! I'm glad it was okay to put you on Brenton's blog - that is the fastest way I know to get word out for prayer requests! I was so tired and didn't want to wait to ask you first - you may have had the baby by then... So, again, I'm glad you were okay with it! It worked great for Kayla! I was so, so, so relieved!!! Prayer is so amazing. God is great and greatly to be praised!
