Going Gray

Have I mentioned that I went prematurely gray? I got my first gray hair when I was 16. But did I also mention that it runs in the family? I didn't realize just how generational this premature graying was until I found a gray hair on Ainsley's head a few months ago.
She's 6.
Is that a record?
Last month, I found two on Max's head.
He's 11. Seriously?
We've all just been joking about it and Mike has been sitting quietly by, trying not to mention the fact that he doesn't have a single gray hair on his head. He claims he will go bald before he goes gray.
WELL. . . . . . . . . . . GUESS WHAT????
Yep,Mike found his first gray hair! The other morning he hollered for me to come in the bathroom and see it. He kept saying, "Is it really white?" Yes, honey. It really is.
I just smiled, patted him on the back, and said, "Welcome to the club!"

You are so gorgeous! My mother went grey when she was 16, so I always thought I would go grey really early. But it actually happened to my little sister instead. But I don't rub it in...not too much anyway. I mean, a big sister has to use what she can, right? Lisa~

I found my first at 26, and had my fair share by 35. When I stared drinking kombucha tea, I started seeing plucked grays that were BROWN at the root again! I have a few stubborn grays, but many fewer than I used to. I will not color my hair when it does go gray, though. I love a crown of silver! You look wonderful!
