Now For A Name. . . . . .

I figure I need to get you all used to Wilson's new name before we get over there and I get totally confused again. On the last trip, we already knew what we would name him, but I wasn't ready to reveal it yet. So, while we were there I was calling him by his given name, talking to our family about him by his new name and blogging about him by his Reece's Rainbow name. VERY CONFUSING!

So, now I will give you the background information.

Mike and I had the hardest time coming up with a name for this precious boy. I love the name Gideon. Mike does not. At one point, I almost won him over, but I didn't feel right bullying my husband into using the name I love. So we kept talking, searching. I wanted a name with a strong meaning. Mike was throwing out names and I was shooting them down right and left. Then he mentioned one that I balked at, but immediately said, "Well, let me see what it means." I looked it up on my ipad and the meaning was perfect. I knew that was his name. Now for a middle name. And we decided to use my Dad's middle name. My sister's middle name. My wonderful cousin's middle name. Let's just say it's a family name.

So, his first name means "Gift From God"

And his middle name means "Shelter From the Storm"

But TOGETHER his name means, "GOD GIVES SHELTER FROM THE STORM".

His name will be ZEBADIAH LEE WOODDELL.

We will call him "Zeb". In fact, we already do.

We love you, Zeb. Can't wait to bring you home!

P.S. I had Gideon on my list for this little one due in Sept. : ) My husband wasn't wild about it either. It's his turn to pick the first name this time, we take turns : D, and I get to pick the middle name. Oh, I love picking names!
