But a couple days ago, instead of the great news they were expecting, they learned something awful. Their precious little Gabe, who they met and fell in love with in April, has been transferred.
Transferred to an an older child orphanage. 3 hours away.
The fact that a family is coming for him didn't stop his transfer.
The fact that his family is just a few weeks away from scooping him up and carrying him HOME didn't stop the transfer.
Now, I am asking for your prayers.
Rick and Kim need prayers for their hearts. They need the Lord to give them strength to carry on here while their minds (and hearts) are half a world away.
Gabe needs our prayers. He needs prayers for workers to have compassion for this little boy who just left the only home he ever knew and is now in a place most of us don't even WANT to imagine. He needs prayers that he will continue to eat so that he doesn't lose any more weight. Weight he can't afford to lose. He needs prayers that God will surround him with angels to comfort him and whisper in his ear that his Mommy and Daddy are coming.
Please pray for Gabe.

Oh, no! I'll certainly be lifting Gabe up many times a day, Please keep us updated. We'll pray they can get into the institution as soon as possible and that he is protected supernaturally!!
I'm praying for Gabe, his parents, and his new caretakers - God knows and WILL provide exactly what is needed! Mommy and Daddy ARE coming! God bless you, Little Angel.
