I did it! I sewed something successfully! I have been wanting to sew clothes for my girls and myself for several years. I have been telling Ainsley for a year that I would make her an apron. Finally, inspiration struck when I found a tutorial here for a child's apron. I went out and bought fabric and notions the same day. And, voila, the apron.

Aren't you impressed? And now that I know how many websites and blogs there are with sewing tutorials, I will be enjoying many more hours of sewing. I'll let you know what else I make. This is the next on my list.

next I'm getting some new socks!....and some shirts,...and dungrees!!!
Dungarees indeed - bet Mike doesn't know those are blue jeans. Yes, I'm very impressed with your sewing skills! BB would be so proud of you and so am I. Sorry but my side of the family just never really go into sewing. My sewing career started and ended when Ginger was two. I think I finished three outfits for her, including a patchwork skirt. Then sewing was kaputt, finished, done, finito. Keep up the good work, Suzy!
GREAT Job! How I married twice to ladies that can't or won't sew a button on, I don't know. But, now both my girls are beginning to sew. Way to go! You are the greatest.
