Have you ever known a child to be soft spoken? I haven't. Until now.
Eli has a very small vocabulary currently. You really have to be paying attention to hear what he has to say. Not because it is unclear, but because he is so soft spoken. He loves to talk. He will come to me and start a conversation of babble. All I have to do to keep the conversation going is throw in the occasional "Yes!", "I understand.", or "I agree completely." Sometimes I'll ask "Really?" and that will start him in on another round of babble. And as I've noted, it's all quiet banter. Just above a whisper. I love it.
Now if I could just get him to stop squealing!

Eli really knows several words because I've heard him say them. But we've never had one like this who chatters away but barely above a whisper. It will be interesting to see where this goes. :)
