Flowers, Flowers Everywhere!

We recently went to the Dallas Arboretum with Nealy and Gigi. We all had a great time discovering new plants, flowers and trees. Several we had never heard of!

The kids had a great time running through the gardens, rolling down a hill of lush green grass, looking at the great big koi in the ponds, and throwing pennies in the fountains. Max even saw a snake!!

Gigi brought fried chicken and clementines, so when we all started to get hungry we stopped and had a little snack. Lillian ate a drumstick until there was NOTHING left on the bone. I showed it to Max and said, "Now this is the way you eat a chicken leg."

Anyway, we had a great time and got away right before the rain started. Now if my yard could look 1% as good as their gardens I would be overjoyed!!

Lillian must be part Liberian. That's the Liberian way to eat chicken!

Thank you for a wonderful day! I enjoyed being with all of you and pigged out on Gigi's delicious chicken and potato salad. Jamie hasn't stopped sneezing since we got home two weeks ago, but it sure was fun! And that Wednesday started our three weeks running of Wicked Wednesday Weather!
