My Little Beauty

Ainsley is dying for me to post something about her. She says it has to be tonight too. So, I'll take this opportunity to show off her portraits that Nealy had made. Ainsley's hair is naturally curly, but certainly not as curly as it used to be. So, I rolled her hair in hot rollers to get it to look just right! She is so patient with me.

Anyhow, let's see. I'll tell you a few things about Ainsley you might not know.

1. Ainsley loves to sing. She sings all the time and even makes up her own praise songs. Tell are delightful.

2. Ainsley has just started telling stories. She can make up a story that lasts ten minutes. They often seem to have no end. She has quite the imagination!

3. Ainsley loves to read books. She has loved to since before her first birthday. When she was 18 months old, she and I would sit on the sofa and read books for an hour before I told her we needed to stop. Now, every day after we read the Bible together, she will open the Bible back up and "read" it to me.

4. Ainsley loves God. She is always the first to offer to pray in the morning, at meal times and at bedtime. She has recently been praying for Brenton Roberts. And she typically mentions all of her family members in prayer also. So, if you have any prayer requests, please let her know.

I am so proud of my little beauty. I pray she grows up to be an amazing woman of God.

Ainsley is just too precious for words. I love the time I spend with her. I love it when she runs into my arms for a big squeeze as she yells, "Nealy!" She makes my day.
