Yes, it's true. Lillian's birthday is the day after Max's. Last year on Max's birthday I said, "Wouldn't it be cool if the baby was born today?" To which Max responded, "I don't want the baby to be born on my birthday." So, God took care of that. I went into labor at 1:00 am. One hour after Max's birthday! And three and half hours later, Lillian joined our family.
Our third blessing has been just that, a blessing! Lillian is the happiest baby. Has been since birth. Once she learned to smile, she just never stopped. Max was the first to make her laugh and he still makes her laugh almost daily. I love it when the kids all start giggling. I always end up laughing too. Sometimes to the point of tears!
We have enjoyed watching, again, all those milestones that babies go through the first year. And we "ooh" and "aah" as if we've never witnessed them before. Lillian has followed in the footsteps of her brother and sister and learned to walk before her first birthday. How fun that when I walk out of the room, she follows me! My heart soars every time I see her coming towards me with outstretched arms.
My goodness, it's really been a year! But I can't wait for all the milestones to come.
Happy Birthday Sugar Plum!

Wow, what a poignant slide show, and a couple of pix I've never seen. It IS hard to believe it's already been a year! It's going to be such fun watching this Max look-alike evolve into a little girl. She's going to talk - and sing early, thanks to Ainsley!
Happy Birthday, Lillian - we love you!

Glad Max and Lillian both have their very OWN birthdays! Darrell, my husband, and his brother Dale are some years and 1 day apart too. Pretty neat.
Great slideshow! Lillian is a precious little girl. I remember her birth quite well. After being there from 2 until about 8 A.M., I had to change clothes and go compete in a speech contest at 10. It was well worth it. She is a cutie.
Happy Birthday, Lillian.
