Mural Mosaic

This is the coolest thing I have ever seen! Look at these mosaics made up of hundreds of paintings or drawings by many different artists. How much time does it take to figure out what kind of pictures you need to make the nose, eyes and eyebrows?

Just the buckle on the harness takes up six pictures! How did they make that work? Remember each picture is created by a different artist.
